Brand identity and website for a Specialist Technical Recruitment company based in Hong Kong

Suddenly we had an ownable device, something that gave meaning and purpose to the name Horizon through the capital H. This graphic device became their logo and made the link between Horizon and making connections.

Their business is all about bringing people together, making connections.

We realised the capital ‘H’ at the beginning of Horizon graphically resembled two people coming together and connecting - the two vertical lines representing two people and the horizontal crossbar resembling the outstretched hands connecting - shaking hands.

Horizon Technology Recruitment wanted a brand identity that would make them stand out from the crowd. The problem was that their name didn’t stand out from the crowd; it was the crowd.

There were thousands of other businesses also called Horizon, and quite a few of those were within the recruitment sector. Our job was to find a way to make the name Horizon ‘ownable’.

Our solution? The Letter H.
